Elite IQ Redness Treatment

Edit Template

Facial redness can be persistent, frustrating, and difficult to cover with makeup—especially when it’s caused by visible capillaries, flushing, or rosacea-prone skin. Elite iQ Redness Treatment is a targeted laser service designed to help minimize redness and improve overall skin tone and clarity, with minimal downtime for most clients.

At Encore Medical Rejuvenation, every treatment plan starts with a professional assessment so we can tailor the approach to your skin type, your redness pattern, and your goals.

What Elite iQ Redness Treatment Can Help With

Elite iQ may be recommended for concerns such as:

  • Persistent facial redness (cheeks, nose, chin)

  • Facial flushing associated with rosacea-prone skin

  • Visible “broken capillaries” (telangiectasia)

  • Small facial veins and vascular redness

  • Redness that worsens with heat, stress, or sun exposure

  • Uneven tone related to vascular congestion

If you are unsure what type of redness you have, a consultation can help determine whether Elite iQ is the best option—or if another treatment (or a combination plan) is more appropriate.

Dysport® vs Botox Treatments in Edmonton

Most individuals have heard of Botox, but many are unaware of Dysport. Dysport® and Botox are very similar in composition, and both are frequently used to treat lines and wrinkles on the face. Both cosmetic injectables are highly effective, and both take full effect in roughly two to three days, so why would a patient need one type of injection over another?

While Botox injections are very specific to the injection site, Dysport® spreads out a bit more, giving the user a wider area being affected. This spreading effect is not drastic, but for larger areas of wrinkles, such as the forehead and between the eyes, this spreading effect means fewer overall shots. For this reason, many individuals prefer Dysport® for larger, deeper areas of wrinkles.

While the price of a unit of Dysport® is typically less than a unit of Botox, more Dysport® medication must be injected to give the same results. To know which one to use, a doctor will look at the facial anatomy and individual lines and wrinkles to develop a proper treatment plan. Encore Medical Rejuvenation uses both Botox and Dysport® in our Edmonton medical spa.

How It Works

Elite iQ uses specialized laser wavelengths that can be selected based on your goals and skin profile. For redness-related concerns, the laser energy is directed toward the visible vessels contributing to redness. Over time, the body naturally clears the treated vascular targets, helping the skin look more even-toned and calm.
